About Me

I’m a designer and storyteller from Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) and a recent graduate of Carleton University and Algonquin College’s Interactive Multimedia and Design program.

My artistic pursuit started with drawing and has branched out into writing, graphic design, photography, sewing, game design and more. I am a big fan of anime, manga, and fantasy, and a lot of my work draws inspiration from those sources. As I continue to take on new projects, I hope to explore all kinds of different styles.

Professional Experience and Skills

Most of my professional experience up to this point has been in communications roles in some form or another. I have created content for social media and newsletters, guided tours of historical sites, assisted in event coordination and served as a teaching assistant. As a result, my communications skills are fairly advanced for someone who was considered the quiet kid in school.

I am adept at leveraging technology in my work and familiar with many different kinds of tools. My tools of choice are Adobe’s design tools, but I am quick to pick up new software. I have some experience programming in C++, C#, Javascript and Python, and lots of practice troubleshooting and problem solving.
