BIT Society Design

I spent most of my undergraduate degree volunteering with the Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) Society in various roles. One of those roles, for a year and a half, was serving as their publications representative. During this time, I was responsible for running the club’s social media accounts and creating posts to share events and announcements.

Social Media Posts

Most of the posts I created followed a style established by another student who served in the role before me. However, I did try to be creative with creating decorative elements like making little icons and designs in the background. One of the ways I liked to experiment the most was creating themed graphics using the club’s hexagon motif.

In retrospect, the posts definitely need some colour adjustment for accessibility. The orange is also a bit too harsh of a colour for text, especially on smaller screens.
